Small Ceremonial Maraca – Handmade from Wingo, Ayahuasca & Topa

Handcrafted in the Peruvian Amazon, these beautiful ceremonial maracas are made using Wingo, Ayahuasca vine (Banisteriopsis caapi) and Topa wood, combining natural materials that have long been valued within Amazonian traditions.

Traditionally used in ceremony, the maraca is more than a musical instrument. Its rhythm helps to support prayer, song and intention, creating a gentle connection between the individual, the forest and the moment. The sound is often used to accompany icaros, meditation and personal spiritual practice.

Each maraca is individually carved and decorated by hand, making every piece unique. The natural patterns of the Wingo seed pod, the Ayahuasca vine details and the warm tones of the Topa wood ensure that no two are ever exactly alike.

Whether displayed as a piece of Amazonian craftsmanship or used respectfully within your own ceremonial practice, each maraca carries the spirit of traditional artisan work and a deep appreciation for the plants and cultures from which it comes.

Please note: As these maracas are handmade from natural materials, the size, colour, carving and wood grain will vary slightly. These natural variations are part of what makes every piece one of a kind.
