This specimen is well established directly onto its wood mount, with roots naturally gripping and growing across the surface. Rather than being freshly mounted for sale, it has been allowed time to settle and establish, giving it the natural appearance of an orchid growing along a branch in the forest.

Ornithocephalus myrticola enjoys high humidity, gentle air movement and soft filtered light. Being mounted, it appreciates regular watering or misting while retaining plenty of air around the roots.

Perfect for a cloud-forest greenhouse, orchid cabinet or humid terrarium, particularly for anyone drawn to smaller botanical species and orchids grown in a more natural way.
