Lepanthes telipogoniflora is one of the most extraordinary miniature orchids in cultivation, renowned for its spectacular flowers which resemble those of the genus Telipogon, hence the name telipogoniflora. The intricate blooms are remarkably large in proportion to the plant itself, creating a stunning display that makes this species highly sought after by collectors. To me, the flowers always resemble tiny red umbrellas suspended above the foliage, giving this species a particularly enchanting character.

Ideal for terrariums, orchidariums, and cloud forest displays, Lepanthes telipogoniflora thrives in warm temperatures with high humidity and gentle air movement. Despite its miniature size, its striking flowers make it a true focal point in any collection.

Mounted on cork with a light layer of moss, this species enjoys consistent moisture paired with excellent airflow around its roots. Under suitable conditions it can flower repeatedly throughout the year, rewarding growers with its fascinating and highly detailed blooms.
