Ayahuasca & Huayruro Woven Necklace
Handcrafted in the Peruvian Amazon, this earthy woven necklace features a slice of authentic Ayahuasca vine (Banisteriopsis caapi) alongside vibrant Huayruro seeds, all woven into a beautiful two-tone cord of natural light beige and rich dark brown. Its simple design reflects the colours and textures of the Amazon forest itself.
The Ayahuasca vine has long been honoured by Indigenous peoples as a sacred teacher plant, symbolising connection, wisdom and respect for the natural world. Huayruro seeds are traditionally carried throughout the Amazon as symbols of protection, good fortune and positive energy, and are often gifted to loved ones as tokens of care.
Each necklace is individually handcrafted by local artisans using natural materials, making every piece unique. The grain of the Ayahuasca wood, the markings of the Huayruro seeds and the woven cord will vary slightly, celebrating the individuality found in nature.
Every purchase also helps support Indigenous communities of the Peruvian Amazon, contributing directly to the continuation of traditional craftsmanship and providing sustainable income for the artisans who create these beautiful pieces.
